Although this post seems more appropriate for Eco-Royalty, I couldn't help doing a post on this - cute it is, but also potentially dangerous?
GM and Segway have just announced their latest collaborative project - the P.U.M.A., or Personal Urban Mobility and Accessibility. Since Segways themselves are nothing but a gimmick and a one-trick pony, I doubt this will get very far, but I think the concept is great - smaller cars, energy efficient, for all those selfish, lazy assholes who don't want to get on the bus or metro. Work it, girl!
Personally, I'd stick to public transportation. The P.U.M.A. is all fun and games until an 18-wheeler runs you and your midget buddy off the road!
