1. Courage can be an aspect of both. Sometimes it requires courage to complete an act.
Villans might be determined, strong-willed, stubborn, evil, but i wouldn't dub them courageous.

Good points. Did you hear about that woman who called the 9/11 terrorists courageous, saying that the amount of fear they had to overcome was "courage"? How do you feel about that?
